The company "QUESERÍA DE LA SIERRA SUBBÉTICA, S.L.", placed in one of the most beautiful towns of our region, named Zuheros, processes wide range of goat's milk cheese. The artisan methods request exquisite quality raw materials and a totally natural processing. Following these methods is how our crude milk cheeses. During its maturation we only add vegetal curdle, salt and olive oil. Its crust is of golden colour caused by continuous oil frictions, sprinkled with the own cheese's mildew produced during its maturation; we do not add any kind of painting or chemical additives. Its slit is firm, of very strong flavour and taste and of texture rather dry, as a result of its long process of maturation that exceeds four months. Ideal to consume like appetiser accompanied of a bottle of red wine of high graduation or a Montilla-Moriles wine. The presentation is in pieces of approximately 1.000 gr. |

"Los
Balanchares" Extra Virgin Olive Goat's Cheese Little cheeses of 40 gr. approximately. Artisan processing using goat's milk coming form our farms, placed in the Natural Park of the Subbetica's mountain chains. Cured with extra virgin olive oil, aromatized with laurel, savoury, coriander, juniper and pepper. Its tasting is slightly acid and very buttery. Very pleasant when tasting them, they are suitable to eat directly with bread's large loaf and we recommend having it with a red wine of low graduation or pale dry sherry. They are also excellent to melt, so they are part of de most easy and quick cooking, like salads with this excellent melted cheese and black pepper Slipped
net weight 600 gr. approx. and 550 ml of extra virgin oil olive
that can be reused to dress salads in which this cheese is used,
either to mature the cheese with the same oil longer time. |
